The compact Raspberry Pi Plug & Play Solution: IoT Compact Panels

With the IoT Compact Panels, we offer compact, plug & play TFT display solutions in sizes from 7" (17.78cm) to 27" (68.58cm). The Raspberry Pi-based TFT controller Artista-IoT is mounted on the rear of the display in a rugged metal housing. Thus the IoT Compact Panels can be integrated quickly and easily into customer’s applications and form a perfect basis for,e.g., industry 4.0 projects or the Internet of Things. Of course other applications, which used to require an expensive industrial PC, do benefit from this solution, too.

All IoT Compact Panels include high quality industrial TFT displays and components with long availability, only. As a plug & play solution, they just have to be connected and are ready for use immediately. Thanks to an integrated passive cooling, the IoT Compact Panels can be operated continuously under full load even at high ambient temperatures without reducing the output.


Thanks to the <link internal-link>Artista-IoT TFT controller, the IoT Compact Panels offer all the advantages of an ARM-PC as the front interfaces single 12V power supply, LAN, HDMI-IN, 2xUSB, Line Out and microSD. In addition, the internal interfaces USB, LVDS, I²C, UART and power supply via DC / DC converters are available. The TFT backlight can either be controlled automatically by an optional ambient light sensor or directly via on-screen display with a separate keypad. WLAN and Bluetooth can be connected via USB dongles. As a special feature, the system offers an HDMI input, which can be used for displaying external content.


The modules can be used immediately without any cable mess. This does not only save time in production, but also improves EMC and thus reduces the time required for approval. There is a fully-fledged scaler chip integrated, which provides special functions: DICOM pre-set for medical applications, color calibrations e.g. for maritime applications, gamma corrections and many more can be implemented very simply.


You can use all Raspberry-supported operating systems for the IoT Compact Panel. Program your own applications based on the Raspberry Pi and benefit from the support of a large community. Optionally we offer the <link internal-link>VideoPoster-IV as a ready-to-use standard application.
