Options for Monitors
Safety glass
Tempered safety glass (TSG), thickness: 3-5mm, depending on the size. To ensure display protection we use tempered glass which is flush mounted with the display panel at the front of the monitor. Tempered glass has undergone a special thermal treatment which makes it more resistant to shock and surface damage.
TrueFlat glass
Tempered safety glass (TSG), thickness: 3-5mm, depending on the size,with black passepartout, printed glass, RAL 9005. TrueFlat glass is tempered glass with a black passepartout installed at the display front. It protects the panel and contributes to an enhanced appearance of the monitor.
TrueFlat bezel with glass
TSG, thickness: 3-5mm, depending on the size, with black passepartout, printed glass, RAL 9005, coated steel bezel in RAL 9006. Tempered glass and bezel are both front mounted in one unit. The additional frame is an upgrade for the appearance of the monitor and also protects the display at the side.

Touch screen
Resistive touch screen panels may be used with bare or gloved fingers or other input objects, such as a stylus. They comprise two electrically resistive layers that sense each other and become connected when pressure is applied. With the resulting change of voltage, the position of pressure can be detected by the touchscreen´s controller. Resistive touch screen panels can sense only a limited number of touch points at once. In contrast, PCAP touch sensors respond to the registration of change in capacitance which is caused by touching the surface of the screen. The touch can be sensed with fingers or any other conductive item as suitable method of input. Compared to resistive touch screens, PCAP touch sensors are able to register up to 80 touch points at once.

TrueFlat touch screen
PCAP touch screen with tempered safety glass (TSG), thickness: 3-5mm depending on the size, with black passepartout, printed glass, RAL 9005 PCAP touch (description above) with TrueFlat glass - a combination of PCAP touch sensor and tempered glass. In addition, it also gives the monitor a appealing high quality optical design.

PLUS-Line

Front plate
Steel, powder coated in RAL 9005, for POS-Line 15“, 17“ and 19“. Aluminum, powder coated in RAL 9005, for POS-Line 15.6“, 17.3“, 21.5“ and 24“. The front plate is especially suitable for flush mounted monitor installation into wall spaces and niches.

Rack mount
Steel, powder coated in RAL 9005, aluminium handles. The rack installation frame for 19“ racks is standardized and can be easily placed and mounted in the rack thanks to the practical handles. This product ist EOL.

Front bezel with cable run for BLO-Line
Steel, powder coated in RAL 9005. Basically, the best solution for fire protection is to place the connections behind the monitor. Power connection and Internet access are thus covered and protected by the monitor. For cases in which this is not possible for structural reasons, Distec offers the option front bezel with cable run to also lead the connections from outside to the monitor. The cable duct connection that protrudes from the monitor has a length of 100.5 mm and is used to connect a fire-proof cable duct. The cable duct is installed right up to the monitor via the connection on the monitor.
