Unique: Our monitors comply with fire protection class A1

In public areas, monitors are used as information and guidance systems for passers-by and visitors. Such monitors are often used in places that are also designated as escape and rescue routes. Therefore special fire protection rules apply.

The fire test carried out on our new BLO-Line proves that our monitors meet the highest fire protection class A1 in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1: 2019-05, because all requirements in the fire test are met or even undercut by far. The fire protection class A1 states that the monitor is not flammable and has the properties "no / little flue gas emission - no flammable dripping / falling off".

This makes Distec the first supplier on the market to offer an independent fire load and flue gas optimized monitor according to the highest fire protection class A1. The previously required use of separate fire protection enclosures for monitors is now no longer necessary - even with high fire protection requirements. This makes the BLO-Line monitors ideal for information displays in areas with stringent fire safety regulations such as hospitals, universities, schools, airports and public areas of buildings.
They are available as pure monitors or as a stand-alone system with integrated PC.

By carefully selecting the components and materials as well as a fire-retardant construction, our monitors are the suitable choice to avoid fire hazardous situations. Thus, our monitors increase safety in the event of fire.
The new A1 BLO monitors in sizes 24" to 65" are available now and each monitor comes with a certificate for the fire protection class A1.
